To extend the width of the homepage carousel gallery, you can add CSS following the path Admin Panel > Appearance > Customize > Additional CSS,
.flickity-viewport figure.coblocks-gallery--figure{
margin: 0px;
}
Above given CSS will extend your gallery only by small length as extending the width without any space on either side will affect the content below the gallery. So, to extend the width of the homepage carousel gallery, it requires code customization. And you can consider hiring a freelancer or professional developer.

To display text as red for links, you can add CSS following the path Admin Panel > Appearance > Customize > Additional CSS,
.home .entry-content .has-text-color span{
color: #e60c0c;
}
Hope this helps.

]]>I want to know if it is possible to extend the width of the homepage carousel gallery. Ideally I would like it to reach from one side of the page to the other without any blank space on either side. Is that possible?
Secondly on all my other pages and content on my links the text shows up as red which is perfect but on the homepage it remains black. I would like that text to also show as red for my links, is that possible?
Any help you can give would be hugely appreciated.
Many thanks
Sonja

]]>The code is not in our core file. It must be a malware infection as you have mentioned.
Malware infection could be injected in four ways
1 – using fake WordPress admin user credentials
2 – via a vulnerable plugin(s) installed on your system
3 – via previously installed malicious shell used to reinfect other
4 – In the case of shared hosting or multiple sites on the same hosting account, the infection may come from other sites as well
It is worth to
1 – reset all WordPress password and review/remove all suspicious uses
2 – investigate your WordPress setup with other security plugins
3 – investigate website access log to locate what exactly exploited on your side
So please verify these steps.
Thank you.
