Leadership and Management Development

A grant funded Leadership and Management Development Programme will enable you to raise your managers’ capability and performance. A grant of up to £1000 of matched funding is available.

What does the programme offer?

- A free and impartial assessment of your organisation’s development needs

undertaken by a specialist Skills Broker from Business Link.

- The skills Broker will work with you to reach agreement on the management development solutions most appropriate for you

What does the funding cover?

The funding can be used to support a broad range of leadership and management

development activity. For example:-

 - tailored development programmes

 - specialists coaches or mentors to provide one-to-one or team based development

 - organisational development consultants who may deploy a range of business

improvement frameworks

 - specialists facilitators to aid strategic development or team building activities

Who qualifies for leadership and management funding?

Companies in the private and voluntary sector with 5 to 250 employees, and with its

head office in the South West

How long will the funding be available?

The Leadership and Management programme is available for those eligible companies

wishing to undertake their development activities before 31st July 2008. However the

programme is budget limited; therefore applications will be dealt with on a ‘first come,

first served basis.
